The foundations of REMTECHSTROY GROUP date back to 1975, when a specialized scientific and production enterprise was established at the Technical University of Varna, focused on welding technologies, industrial repair, heavy machinery restoration, and engineering solutions for military and industrial infrastructure under the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Bulgaria.

Over the years, the group expanded its engineering expertise into multiple industrial sectors including railway mechanization, underwater engineering, infrastructure construction, industrial modernization, heavy equipment repair, and international engineering projects.
